Monsanto and GMOs Exposed

This is a Call to Action for a Non-Hierarchical Occupation of Monsanto Everywhere Whether you like it or not, chances are Monsanto contaminated the food you ate today with chemicals and GMOs.

Monsanto controls much of the world's food supply at the expense of food democracy worldwide. This site is dedicated to empowering citizens of the world to take action against Monsanto.

In 2010, Monsanto spent $120 million on advertising to convince consumers that GMO foods are safe, despite scientific evidence suggesting otherwise.

In India, farmers have been devastated by the debt after being duped into buying GM seeds. Terminator seeds* are designed to not produce the next generation. Over 250,000 Farmers have committed suicide as their ability to save, breed, and exchange seeds has been taken. With few seeds on the market, farmers are even more dependent on Monsanto to buy seeds. The Indian cotton farmers have bought Bt cotton and are forced to pay royalties each time they collect their own seed. This violation of seed sovereignty leaves families in debt for generations and should be illegal.
Many countries have already banned GMO's including Peru recently. But, Peru isn't the only country to ban GMO foods or place restrictions on them. Last year, Russia stopped imports of Monsanto's GMO corn after a French study linked the it to cancer; France also has a ban on the corn. Ireland has banned the growing of GMO crops since 2009. Japan and Egypt also ban GMO crops. In 2010, Switzerland extended it's ban on genetically modified animals and plants, banning GMOs until at least 2013.

The plants grown from Monsanto seeds are designed to be treated with toxic herbicides, pesticides, and chemicals which have been suspected to increase allergies. They have also been linked to decreased fertility, asthma, organ failure, and even cancer.

^^^^ This will shock you ^^^^

To monsanto it doesn't matter that they haven't tested their GMO on long term. They are happy that they changed the DNA of the plant and now they can patent it and make money everytime someone grows it. And if the farmers don't pay up, they will just take their land and everything they own. They don't want to end world hunger. They want to rob the world under the guise of helping.

  2. And more opinion. Angry, irrational opinion, at that, which makes for poor debate and lack of credibility (much like Alex Jones). Understand, I have no love for Monsanto. I empathize with your anger towards a corporation that seeks to poison the general populace for personal gain. But all you have provided is a shock-jock opinion with links to Occupy movements and how to contact the Monsanto corporation. I see nothing linked to scientific or medical research papers. I don't say these things to diminish you or your article. Instead, I hope that maybe you can provide useful, informative articles with a bit of credibility behind your words so as to better inform the populace; not use shock tactics or hope to use your readers to provide plausibility to your argument. Randomly putting "facts" into peoples' faces without evidence is called propaganda, and would make you no better than Monsanto or our governments...

    2. There is evidence though. I'm not arguing with you...however to change it...we need to protest it though/ That is how things work in this country. The food industry hires there own people to test the food. And, 9 out of 10 all the data that is sent to the FDA is false. There have been many independent research done...that you can find that goes against everything they claim. They claim it is healthy, independent research shows the opposite. I know what your saying though...however do we really need evidence when we see it every day?

To all the doubters, the only real way to discover the truth here is to do your own research. Don't demand links from this article to sources to back up the claims here. While I acknowledge that is a common practice, you know, citing your sources, this whole situation is one that requires a different type of proof.
A 'proof enough', so to speak, to the individual, resulting from connections discovered between various aspects of this dilemma. Think of it as a civil trail, where you should only have to amass 51% evidence against GMO to convince yourself that it's unwise to consume food products manipulated and sold by various chemical and bio engineering companies.
The revolving door between monsanto officials and the EPA and FDA is quite alarming. As are some of the detrimental health benefits experienced by some cows fed exclusively GM corn feed. Also, crop yields are no where near what was expected and generally do not outperform conventional farming methods. GM's were touted as a solution to world hunger, but even despite yield failures, world hunger is a matter of access/distribution, not lack of food.
Insects are becoming resistant to BT already, creating superbugs which require more insecticide to eliminate, sometimes reaching levels way higher then what would have been sprayed if the crops were not tampered with to begin with. Countries all over the world are banning GM imports and or requiring labeling.
The terminator gene is in my opinion the most pathetic part of the GM life cycle, besides it's inception. Keep in mind this was co-patented by the US government. The worst part about the whole situation is companies now patent food (tomatoes, soy beans, corn...etc) which they slightly altered in a lab, release that food into the food supply, which mingles with OG produce ( produce before GM) and contaminated their fields, then, all of the sudden, all food on earth is owned by big business. That is the inevitable conclusion of cross contamination is not stopped and patent laws are enforced the same way they are now.
Well I've won my civil trail ladies and gentlemen. I am 98% convinced GMOs are leading us down the wrong path, when even 51% would be enough to convince me to avoid all GMOs. So why is it then, that the opposition demands absolute proof from a 'credible' source when many of those that would fund the studies to evaluate long term health affects are actually in league with the companies marketing GM products. Ultimately, it should be apparent enough to anyone examining this issue over time (years is best, but please, longer than one hour of one day...) from all sources that GM is bad for countries ( SEE India), our society, nature and for the people. Your heart should tell you this wrong before the mind can assemble any thought. If you believe heart>mind then this should be enough. If you believe mind>heart, then your mind should be able to piece together this puzzle. After all, pattern recognition is the minds forte.

    2. You're in luck! There is a way, which you might not like. My only answer is you gotta research! I've been at it for about four years, learned a multitude of curious things along the way. Spend some free time looking over alternative news outlets online, paying attention to anything GMO. Everything I know I got from the net but it takes time to disseminate fact from fiction. Short list here....
Almost all processed food contains some sort of GMO. If you buy it in a grocery store, its in a box, yup, probably gmo. Look out for -
-Canola oil\rapeseed oil\soy most other vegetable oils. olive oil is ok! for now.
-corn tomatoes and soybeans are the big three. I recommend avoiding all corn like high fructose corn syrup, corn starch, cornmeal...sadly tomatoes are tricky, because they are pizza sauce and salsa, among many other things you dont really think about.....
Further down the rabbit hole you get introduced to the GM feed we give our livestock which we eventually consume as food so if one is really concerned about GMOs they must investigate this trend as well...luckily local farmers markets sell untainted bison and elk meat, at least in my area. Hunting is viewed unfavorably by many but as I see its the last vestage for obtaining untainted meat fit for continual consumption.

/READ YOUR LABELS. Buy local visit your farmers market every Saturday talk to your community, talk to that weird granola hippie you sit next to in class, they might have a solid lead on where to get heirloom tomatoes. Avoid food products with a commercial is a great rule of thumb. Your best bet it stop eating fast food altogether, eat at home way more often, stick with what grows on trees/inground/from earth, then find which are GM and avoid those or buy trusted organic.
I know you only asked a simple question but most things we perceive as simple are infinitely complicated. In my experience, if you really are concerned with GMO as I think you should be, an entire diet/lifestyle change is in order. Trust me when i say it is difficult to embrace a GMO free life without embracing many aspects of veganism/vegetarianism. You don't have to be either, as I am not, but the lifestyle there caters to earth based eating and health perpetuation. All diets will eventually fail, your lifestyle is what needs a makeover. I can only help so much on line if we were friends i would totally be your guiding light.

IT IS DIFFICULT and exhausting and you must be forever vigilant because facts on the ground are always changing but this is for your and your families health and longevity so I ask what is more important.

  5. What's with this world , in the 90s and back life was much easier healthier and these fools were less now there a lot of them

    1. I understand what you mean since GMO weren't publicly introduced until the early 90's, but these fools have been around since the establishment of our country (USA), quite numerous as they are now but still in the minority. For example, in 1913 we established our 3rd, this time permanent, privately held for profit central bank which was granted the power to control our entire nations money supply, thus the government, and eventually the world because of our interdependent markets and the US dollar as the world reserve currency...what fools we were!
Keep in mind the internet is the reason we know anything. Before the 90s, it wasn't as prevalent and commonplace. So yes, life was much simpler before, when everything was spoonfed to the populace with mass media acting as the delivery mechanism for that current administrations propaganda.

    1. There's theories of population control; meaning both the numbers and overall control (slavery). Though it would be nigh impossible to prove, I'd be willing to stake my life on it.
The best way to control and further indenture the slave class is to maintain the illusion of freedom.

I suggest you look deep into the NWO and satanic worship. Remember, it's not about what you or i believe, it's about what those in power believe.

  11. There's only one problem with growing a garden. How do you know the seeds that you are using to grow your garden aren't from gmo products? Do you see the problem here? I would love to eat everything natural, but it's getting harder to do.

    1. valid concern.
First, buy heirloom. I know tomatoes are GM, but heirloom seeds are not. Farmers markets are great but actually going to local farms and talking to a farmer will bring you closer for inspection. Next, find out all the produce that isn't genetically modified, there are still lots, then try to grow those. My understanding is that most, if not all GM crops have a terminator gene so if you plant it once, harvest, then none of the resulting seeds sprout the following year, you probably got GM seeds. If you experiment that way, best not to eat the first harvest :) . Last method, pick a company you trust (lol) and roll the dice.

  12. All the seed companies below are either exclusively genetic or have sections within their catalogues. Must read the fine print folks! More and more seed companies are moving in the direction of organic seeds, I prefer the ones who have philosophical preferences and values offering such a variety or total selection.
Fedco, will not offer genetically engineered varieties
    Seeds of Change:
    Good Seed Company:
Territorial Seed: While they’re not exclusively organic, they do offer a nice organic selection.

  13. i would also also bet my life on it that it is population control, you say it is causeing alot of hormone problems, well it is the truth that more gays are being born..also my doctor tells me that immune systems are at the hightest ever all over the world cancer is geeting worse,i think they want us to kick over died before they have to pay us social sercurety.also medical companys are making it almost impossable to afford the meds we need..and people say if they have all this planned out why even let a little imformation out about it,because people just say oh ur just parniod and they no that..but i grant you in a short period to come when people do become more aware of whats going on it will be to late, just like the jews they had no idea what was geeting ready to happen to them, one day every thing is fine the next they are being lined up to shot,or gassed, they controlled population bye working them to death with out much food until they fell over died, then just replace with another to go threw the same thing..so please before u say this is not or cannot happen just read about the HOLICOST.

  20. March against Monsanto was a huge success, as far as protests go. I believe we really raised awareness. Monsanto has been shutout of Europe, now it's crunch time. We need to strike while the iron is hot, and get rid of their last strong foothold, America. If they lose here, they lose everywhere.
