No, the policeman didn't seem stupid. Rather a reasonable gentleman. When you raise your voice in a public place, or use a megaphone, it's more than ordinary free speech - it's a protest/demonstration and the rights of others are affected. The policeman's job is to maintain the balance between your rights and theirs.
ReplyDeleteThis man is commendable for his determination to speak out within his rights. That cop was stalling and letting him speak only to look for a loophole he could jump through to have this man arrested. You could see the wheels turning in his head. Hooray for this man !
