It's a Parktown Prawn from South Africa. Harmless. It hisses and it's squirts a black liquid out it's tail when frightened. though I've never seen a light coloured one. generally they're dark reddish blackish.
We had a cat once that used to bring wetas inside and let them go. That was always fun, but at least I wasn't the lucky one to wake up to one walking across my chest.
