It is believed there were two attackers who acted in coordination, killing one and wounding two more in the streets of London. The attackers were incapacitated after they assaulted police.
'Soldier beheaded' in 'Islamist terror attack' oustide barracks in Woolwich
Two suspected terrorists were shot by armed police after attacking a pedestrian, believed to be a soldier, with a machete-style knife close to military barracks in an 'Islamist attack'.
Several witnesses described seeing a "beheading" while another described seeing a man wearing a Help for Heroes T-shirt being attacked with a machete-style knife and dumped.
Prime Minister David Cameron called a meeting of the Government's Cobra crisis committee, describing the incident as "truly shocking"
The BBC reported sources had told them the men were shouting "Allahu Akbar" as they carried out the attack and had filmed carrying it out.
One witness, called James, told LBC radio: "We saw clearly two knives, meat cleavers, they were big kitchen knives like you would use in a butcher's, they were hacking at this poor guy, we thought they were trying to remove organs from him"
"These two guys were crazed, they were not there, they were just animals. They then dragged him from the pavement and dumped his body in the middle of the road.
"They took 20 minutes to arrive, the police – the armed response."

What is Blackwater?
Blackwater is now known as Academi.

How are Blackwater and Monsanto connected?
While rumor had it that Monsanto had actually purchased Blackwater, that is not the case. Monsanto contracted with the mercenary group for “security services”. In 2010, an illuminating report called Blackwater BlackOps, written by Jeremy Scahill, of The Nation, revealed that Monsanto had given a contract worth up to half a million dollars to Blackwater.
Monsanto has a history of hiring an unscrupulous mercenary army. Be aware during this weekend’s activism that agent provocateurs may be afoot, particularly at the larger events. Don’t rise to the bait of those who would try to deflect protesters from their goal. The goal remains clear – we are there to peacefully spread awareness about Monsanto and about the health and environmental hazards of GMOs. Around the world, the movement for real food has created an enormous global awakening. Through the power of social media and alternative news, we are cresting a wave with this event. We must maintain our unity and momentum, and stay focused on the goal, because with every attack made against us, we may be reassured that Monsanto is on the run.

Miracle mum brings premature baby son back to life with two hours of loving cuddles after doctors pronounce him dead, By Mail Foreign Service. It was a final chance to say goodbye for grieving mother Kate Ogg after doctors gave up hope of saving her premature baby. She tearfully told her lifeless son - born at 27 weeks weighing 2lb - how much she loved him and cuddled him tightly, not wanting to let him go. Although little Jamie's twin sister Emily had been delivered successfully, doctors had given Mrs Ogg the news all mothers dread - that after 20 minutes of battling to get her son to breathe, they had declared him dead. Having given up on a miracle, Mrs Ogg unwrapped the baby from his blanket and held him against her skin. And then an extraordinary thing happened. After two hours of being hugged, touched and spoken to by his mother, the little boy began showing signs of life.At first, it was just a gasp for air that was dismissed by doctors as a reflex action. But then the startled mother fed him a little breast milk on her finger and he started breathing normally. 'I thought, "Oh my God, what's going on",' said Mrs Ogg. 'A short time later he opened his eyes. It was a miracle. Then he held out his hand and grabbed my finger. 'He opened his eyes and moved his head from side to side. The doctor kept shaking his head saying, "I don't believe it, I don't believe it".' The Australian mother spoke publicly for the first time yesterday to highlight the importance of skin-on-skin care for sick babies, which is being used at an increasing number of British hospitals. In most cases, babies are rushed off to intensive care if there is a serious problem during the birth. But the 'kangaroo care' technique, named after the way kangaroos hold their young in a pouch next to their bodies, allows the mother to act as a human incubator to keep babies warm, stimulated and fed. Pre-term and low birth-weight babies treated with the skin-to-skin method have also been shown to have lower infection rates, less severe illness, improved sleep patterns and are at reduced risk of hypothermia. Her husband had this to say: 'Luckily I've got a very strong, very smart wife. 'She instinctively did what she did. If she hadn't done that, Jamie probably wouldn't be here.'
In Japan, only two percent of adoptions involve babies and little kids. The remaining 98 percent are adults adopting other adults.

A teenager from a small town outside Boston has been held without bail for weeks. He faces terrorism charges and 20 years in prison for posting rap lyrics on the internet.
Held without bail? For writing a rap song?
A search of Cam's house found no explosives, weapons, or ANY evidence that he was planning anything other than becoming the next Eminem.

Meet Cameron D'Ambrosio. He's 18 and lives in a small town outside Boston. He wants to be a rapper and calls himself "Cammy Dee" in his YouTube videos.
Oh, and he's been locked up without bail for weeks -- facing terrorism charges and 20 years in prison -- all for something he posted on Facebook.
On May 1st, Cam was skipping school and messing around on the internet. He posted some lyrics that included a vague reference to the Boston Marathon Bombing and called the Whitehouse a "federal house of horror." Soon after that he was arrested and charged with Communicating a Terrorist Threat, a felony that carries 20 years in prison.
The post contained no specific threat of violence against any person or group of people, and in the context of the rest of the lyrics and Cams' rap persona, it was clearly nothing more than a metaphor. A search of Cam's house found NO evidence that he was planning any violence, but a judge still ordered him held without bail for the next 3 months, pending trial.
Cam should be released immediately unless the D.A. can produce some additional evidence as to why he is a threat to anyone.

While the humans have been looking for the elixir of life
throughout every period of history, it appears that there is one species of
jellyfish that are actually immortal. Turritopsis nutricula, or sometimes –
Turritopsis dohrnii, is able to transform its cells from mature state back to
immaturity, in other words – back to youth. The medusa leads a regular cycle of
life, but after maturing and mating, it reverts back to its initial state – a
polyp colony. The process is referred to as“transdifferentiation”, and it
basically makes the jellyfish unable to die.
If a mature Turritopsis is threatened — injured or starving,
for example — it attaches itself to a surface in warm ocean waters and converts
into a blob. From that state, its cells undergo transdifferentiation, in which
the cells essentially transform into different types of cells. Muscle cells can
become sperm or eggs, or nerve cells can change into muscle cells, “revealing a
transformation potential unparalleled in the animal kingdom,” according to the
original study of the species published in 1996.
But Turritopsis can — and do — die. Their regeneration only occurs after sexual maturation, therefore they can succumb to predators or disease in the polyp stage. But because the jellyfish are the only known animal with this “immortality,” scientists are studying them closely, with the hopes of applying what they learn to issues such as human aging and illness.
The bell-shaped immortal jellyfish measures up to a maximum
of bout 4.5 millimeters (0.18 in) and is about the same in its length and
width. Originating in the Caribbean, it has now spread worldwide, and the
discovery of its unique ability has heated up many discussions among the
scientists. Some claim that their mystery is soon to be solved and applied to
humans, while others only expect it to improve the quality of life at our final
stages. Either way, knowing that something out there goes back and forth from
being young to old to young again, blows your mind!

As cubs a lion, a tiger, and a bear had been owned by a drug dealer who did not properly care for them. The bear’s harness grew into his skin because the owner did not alter it as the animal grew. They had been abused and neglected early in life, but were finally rescued. The bear's harness was surgically removed. After they had been taken in by an animal sanctuary in Georgia, the staff tried to separate them due to obvious concerns that the three large predators would fight. During the trial of separation, the animals were uncooperative and behaved poorly. Once reunited, the three calmed down and were well behaved.
